Maria and Rob celebrated their summer wedding at Woodend Sanctuary in Chevy Chase, Maryland, surrounded by the property’s beautiful gardens and natural landscape. Maria envisioned wedding flowers that felt as though they had just been gathered from a summer garden, with bright shades of pink, yellow, and blue creating a joyful, romantic palette. Their garden ceremony perfectly reflected the couple’s warm personalities and love of nature.

For the ceremony, Maria and Rob chose Cedar Grove, one of Woodend Sanctuary’s beautiful outdoor settings. We designed the ceremony flowers to feel natural and garden-inspired, using abundant greenery and colorful seasonal blooms to complement the surrounding landscape rather than compete with it. The result felt lush, relaxed and perfectly at home in the gardens of Woodend Sanctuary.

Following the ceremony, guests made their way to the tented reception, where the garden-inspired floral design continued. Colorful summer flowers and fresh greenery brought the surrounding landscape into the tent, creating a relaxed and romantic setting that felt connected to the natural beauty of Woodend Sanctuary.
