Utilizing lush foliage, fruiting branches, and sumptuous blossoms, Petals and Promises gathers the finest flowers from farms around the globe. Local and seasonal flowers are resourcefully incorporated into each design. Blossoms and stems are carefully selected and then transformed into stunning arrangements, custom designed for your event. Petals and Promises services clients throughout Maryland Virginia, and The District of Columbia from her studio located in Silver Spring, Maryland and is available for travel.
Lisa spent her childhood in an iconic New England town on the Connecticut coastline, spending summer mornings wandering on beach paths lined with profusions of wild roses and hydrangea. She recalls spending countless hours creating daisy chains of clover and picking bouquets of violets. She adores puttering around in antique shops and has a passion for anything blue and white, especially antique chinaware! She loves her carefully curated Blue and White Pinterest board!

The company sidekick is her silver Standard Poodle, Bruce Liam…80 pounds of devoted and unconditional love… He also thinks he’s the father of every bride who walks through the door!
Lisa has an affinity for beautiful ribbon and has a collection of antique ribbons. She loves pairing the perfect hand dyed silk ribbon with a beautiful bespoke floral bouquet. The most gratifying part of this? It’s handing you a gloriously beautiful bouquet on the morning of your wedding.
