ivia and Amir celebrated their intimate summer wedding at Oatlands in Leesburg, Virginia, surrounded by the romantic beauty of the estate’s historic greenhouse. Dreaming of a whimsical secret-garden setting, the couple chose this remarkable glasshouse as the backdrop for a celebration filled with lush greenery and soft garden-inspired details. Built around 1810 and believed to be the second-oldest propagation greenhouse in the United States, the Oatlands greenhouse created an extraordinary setting for their romantic wedding.

The floral palette of pale blue and green drew inspiration from Livia’s engagement ring. We transformed the greenhouse with lush Smilax vine cascading across the ceiling, creating the feeling of an overgrown secret garden. Blue delphinium and fresh blueberries added delicate touches of color, while the bridal bouquet was finished with a pale blue moiré silk ribbon. Vintage sterling silver pieces and blue-and-white Chinoiserie vases completed the tablescape and floral design.
