Kara and Adam celebrated their romantic garden wedding at Strong Mansion in Maryland, bringing together two wonderfully different styles. Adam’s love of hunting and fishing met Kara’s classic, colorful style—what we affectionately thought of as “Garden & Gun meets Kate Spade.” Kara chose a May wedding date in part because of her love of peonies and her hope of having them among her wedding flowers. Their beloved Standard Poodle, Luca, was also part of the ceremony, making the celebration even more personal. The historic mansion and surrounding gardens provided a beautiful setting for a wedding filled with personality and thoughtful details.
The floral design celebrated the very best of May, with lush peonies taking center stage alongside white dogwood, delicate lily of the valley, and trailing clematis vine. Soft shades of pink and white created a romantic garden palette that felt perfectly at home at Strong Mansion, while the mix of seasonal blooms gave the flowers a natural, gathered-from-the-garden feeling.
