Maria and Rob were married July 18th in a garden ceremony that can only be described as a fairytale. The Woodend Sanctuary, located in Chevy Chase, Maryland, is one of two Nature Sanctuaries in partnership with the Audubon Naturalist Society. It was the perfect location for a romantic, intimate garden setting for Maria and Rob’s big day.
Maria requested that her florals look as though they had been freshly picked from the garden that morning, and I have to say, I think we met her mark. We incorporated shades of bright pink together with varying shades of yellow and blue stems. The Woodend Nature Sanctuary is set on acres of manicured gardens as well as many acres of natural landscape. The couple elected to marry in the Cedar Grove under an arch of lush natural greenery. The reception was held in a tented patio surrounded by family and friends. Congratulations, Maria and Rob and thank you so much for allowing me to play a part in your journey to happily ever after!
