Liz and Deven celebrated with a modern Indian fusion wedding at The LINE Hotel in Washington, D.C. Working with their planner, Tiffany Balmer of The DC Event Planner, we created a floral palette that reflected the rich colors of a traditional Indian wedding while complementing their rooftop ceremony and modern celebration. Vibrant orange, red and warm-toned flowers brought beautiful color and energy to this distinctive Washington, D.C. wedding.

The ceremony took place on the rooftop of The LINE Hotel, followed by a reception in the ballroom with its dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Washington, D.C. The contemporary setting was the perfect backdrop for the vibrant florals and rich colors of Liz and Deven’s Indian fusion celebration.

The floral details also honored elements of the couple’s Indian wedding traditions, including flowers for the mandap and traditional floral garlands that I carefully selected and sourced from a specialty vendor. The celebration also included a memorable baraat, with the groom arriving on a white elephant—a spectacular beginning to this joyful fusion wedding.
